What's the best Puncture repair kit?

No advocating spare tubes, I carry them anyway but what have people tried in the way of PR kits and what did you think?

This was prompted by my 2nd repair kit crumbling in my hand when I came to use it. It may be very old and of uncertain pedigree but I need to replace it. I've got a Tip Top kit on my roadbike

and some Lezyne dry patches in my mtn bike pack

but want some views if there are better ones out there. The Tip Top stuff works but once you open the glue it disappears over time and the Lezyne patches are great but I've had two leak very slowly over time, down to not quite sealing tight.

Any out there worth considering. I do like the Lezyne kits?

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I like the Tip Top patches, and buy the smallest (15 or 16mm?) I can find by the dozen online. Otherwise I buy a small Tesco Puncture Kit whenever I'm in the store. All glues disappear once opened IME. Wrap mine in cling film once opened. Carry the Park patches too.

They do have one disadvantage - putting a jingle from Blankety-Blank into your head every time you see "Super Patch".

The workings of your head have no place in my thread, especially as I don't even need to play that to now have it running around in my head and forever associated with park patches, which will mean it jangling away in my brain as I glue the damn thing to tube.

Another vote for the Park tools patches. They work great, and a lot cheaper than replacing inner tubes in my boys bmx when he gets pinch flats from bouncing up and down kerbs while doing his paper round (although he says he doesn't...hmm) his current rear tube has 3!

Ones given out for free, at events:rolleyes: I'm a cheapskate;). I only use one or two a year so usually lasts a long time. However I transfer it to an Aldi box which is bigger, in which I also keep the key to unlock my wheels.
