I use the Herbalife H3O Pro stuff both during a longer (100km+) ride and after; lemony-lime flavour, not to sweet and certainly seems to aid 'instant' recovery. Next days are not too bad either.

It'd be almost as easy, and certainly cheaper to just construct a mix to add to milk to make yourself a recovery drink.

It's 1 part protein to 4 parts carbs according to their website.

So half a scoop of whey and two scoops of ultra fine oats in a shaker, add milk and you're done.

I'm thinking of making a formulation for my tour of whey oats and creatine, to put in a tub and take with me. Take it at the end of the day and it should aid recovery and boost energy levels.
