Which method is best to sell my old dacia ?
TBH although mechanically sound it does have a big scratch on the plastic wheel arch trim, small dent in the bonnet and wing mirrors have been scrapped a few times .
I have read that webuy any car are really bad for knock you down so i wondered what would be the best way to shift it ? I am not confident enough to sell it privately as the amount of hassle i get even trying to sell a bike for peanuts gives me enough stress .

I'm looking at WBAC for mine. Shame, but don't want the sob story etc. It's only worth a few hundred but has been a great car.

just been on wbac and initial offer is £2200 , so call it maybe £1500 -£1700 after they muck about which i guess i can live with , what makes me laugh is i see cars maybe 2 years old with similar mileage for around £10k .
Another offer from motorway was £1300 !!!

I'm getting about £250 for mine as its 23 years old. Nice car but. Ebay is upto £1000 or more for a good example but it will need to go soon as I am getting something else and need space.

I'm going back a few years but we were happy with the deal we got from WBAC. The final payment was pretty much equal to the original offer. The car had a number of problems and I was honest about them. I brought them all to their attention, not the other way round. They didn't seem too worried. Money was transferred quickly and it was nice to see the back of it with very little hassle.

Mine is due a MOT at the end of the month but I then have the risk of not passing and the additional cost of MOT. It should pass.

All depends if you need rid, need a decent price and can wait for a sale. Our issue will be space not price.

Be aware that they do have some wriggle room, so they'll get the table of deductions out and knock the price back, but you can often haggle them back up a little, particularly if it's a car that will sell on easily. Obviously make sure that you clean it within an inch of its life and have all your paperwork when you go to the appointment.

Just a word of warning, they will definitely chip you on the price. Forget what they’ve offered, and establish what is your realistic bottom line for the car. If after they’ve knocked you down if it’s close to that, then happy days. But it is all a bit of a charade, you need to be in the mood for it!

Motorway are better than WBAC in my experience, as long as your honest about any faults inc. minor ones.

Autotrader. They filter the calls so no one get your number or email address.

The downside is it may (or may not) take longer to sell than the likes or Motorway or Weshaftanycustomer, but if you do sell it'll be at a price  you have set.
