Does a tour count?

13,400km recorded to date, with another 500km earlier in the year before the odometer was reset for our tour (apparently that is 8,637 miles). But we have had several months with no cycling at all waiting for 2 injuries (same injury different foot!) to heal and another few weeks out waiting around for visas.

Well that's it for 2011 -an average of 189 miles pw over the year, despite missing about 7 weeks to hols and illness.

Highlight of the year has to be my 23:49 in a 10m TT (accurate course) in August. Onwards and upwards for 2012.

Finished off with 32 miles this morning, in my fastest ride of the year. Target was 3500, total was 3559, so v happy with that. Up 500 on last year. No target for 2012, except to cycle as often as poss, and get faster and stronger.

Just got back from my last ride of 2011 - to make a total of 4090 miles for the year. Not bad considering I don't commute anywhere, so it's all leisure or shopping trips (and I cba to go out and do that last 10 miles, which proves I don't really care and have only been logging mileages out of idle curiosity ).

2060, that’s commuting, with the odd ride for pleasure in the fine weather (Which I must do more of in 2012)
My last ride of 2011 will finish at 2015 ish tonight.
My first ride of 2012 will start 0635 tomorrow. (Well at least the roads will be quiet)

I went out with the club on their usual bun run of 40 miles but nobody was in when I got home so I jumped on the town bike and did another 10miles so my total now stands at 7842miles.
