Ironically I am not an Elvis fan. And good luck charm I am not. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all :rolleyes:.

Looking back at these records there is a recurring theme. They seem to have a much longer shelf life than hits of today do.
Eddie Calvert's 'Oh mein Papa' was on Family Favourites consistently for years after it was released. Charles Penrose singing the 'Laughing Policeman' was also a favourite for yonks on the request progs and that was first released on 1922 under Charles Jolly.
