I have bought two CDs this year: The Liberty of Norton Folgate by Madness, and Vivian Girls by Vivian Girls. The Madness CD was a bit disappointing, althought it had a couple of decent tracks. The Vivian Girls had one stand-out track. I'm just glad I heard a new band I liked.

Butterfly House - the Coral (8/10 fine return to form)
Interpol - Interpol (6/10 disappointing 4th album after 2 & 3 were cracking efforts)
Surfing The Void - Klaxons (6/10 fewer tunes than their 2008 début)
