hmm look good

but i've currently got 700-35's... and my inner tubes (well the new ones anyway) say '700-35 to 700-42'..

since these conti's dont do 700-35 , they do 700-28 , 700-32 or 700-37,, if i went down in size to the 32, would the inner tube be okay still ( or even the 28) ??

( though i suppose, who cares, they come with a free inner tube!)

OK, promised I'd let you know how they were....

Well, it's 300 miles or so on the new tyres (and free tubes).

They seem to have a lot less roll resistance than the previous semi-slicks and give a lot of confidence in the high-speed, leeny over, turns on tarmac (psychosocial maybe?). On the muddy road? Well, can't really tell a difference.

These tubes seem to lose a lot of pressure though, 1 bar (out of 6) every week, but that's no big deal.

No visits from the fairy yet.

No reason not to recommend them, especially at the price.

I know, seems amazing doesn't it - remains to be seen how it applies in practice, but it's standard on Conti's by all accounts. Have a quick look at the website (http://www.conti-tyr...e/SSGpage.shtml) for more info.

Curse. It's only valid on certain tyres.

I have 3 or 4 worn out / split conti ultra gator tyres at home, all under a year old, all have been punctured several times. I was only keeping them to use on the turbo.

For a moment I though I might be able to get a load of new tyres and tubes (No such luck).
