Hi, As the title suggests ive got some Easton EA50's. Upon collecting them the rim looks quite thin so I am wondering if I could get 25mm tyres on them (I already have surplus Michelin Pro 4 endurance 25mm) or am I best off buying 23mm versions?

I used to have a pair of the same wheels.
25's will fit no problem.

Thanks ianrauk. Saves the extra expense of buying some new tyres.
What did you make of the Easton wheels?

Great wheels, loved them. Very strong, nice and stiff. When a spoke went, they only went out of true by a couple of mm's. I managed to finish my ride and do 80 miles on them without the spoke.

When they originally came out, they were Cycle Plus' pick of wheel sets when they did a round up.
They were sold on with the bike they were on at the time. These were the EA50SL's

I just remembered, I still do have a pair of EA50's Aero's in the shed that were supplied with my Van Nick. Reason I don't use them at the moment is that they are black rims. I prefer silver.

I feel very satisfied with my purchase now. Hopefully get to try them out at the weekend and they should add at least 12mph to my average ^_^
