What tyres are you using to commute to work?

Currently I have Vittoria Zaffiro road bike tyres seem okay not really that fast but get me from a-b had a few punctures so hardly bomb proof.
Have Continental Sport on road bike only put them on a last less than impressed with them feel slow so they will be coming off and heading for the bin.

I was thinking of upgrading to gators skins or can someone suggest a good tyre in a similar price bracket as I hear they are quite a heavy tyre and not that fast or easy to put back on when you have a puncture road side.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Vittoria Rubino on road wheels, Pirelli Cinturato H 35mm on the cyclo-cross commuter. My experience with Gatorskins was not a pleasant one; they slide in the wet.

Don't cycle commute any more but my tyre of choice was always the Marathon Supreme on the CX bike, or Durano+ on the single speed.
No idea if these are still available as it's been a few years since I last bought any, the ones I have are still going strong for my weekend group rides.

Robino for me not sure which bike they are on tbh. 🤣 Almost as good as Michelin pro4 but half the price...

Durano Plus I used on my Fixie was the only thing that stood upto the glass on the Fallowfield Loop. Everything else cut and punctured. Currently use a slightly more off road route so Land Cruisers on the 26" MTB - not fast at all but grip in mud and gravel. Slow on tarmac. Not had a flat with them either.

I'm using old favourite Schwalbe Delta Cruiser for the commuter bike. Average all round.

Marathon+ Incredibly durable. Everything else I had tried cut up very badly on the rough tarmac of the Loop. They did feel very heavy when I first put them on, but I'm commuting not racing and it's fine. I'd rather the reliability over anything else. If you get them up to max pressure they ride much better, good wet performance too.

Black round ones. I prefer the £10-15 type but these are getting harder to find in any sort of reasonable quality tyre so recently have had to purchase some that may have been £20+ ea if my memory serves me correctly. I have a pair hung up in the shed so that they are ready for when I need them (which isn't very often).

marathon+ been used for over 5 years through litter strewn streets .So far the many small cuts to the tread haven't caused any punctures . It`s the bomb proofness i need not performance

The last tyres I used on my main commuter road bike were Michelin Pro 4 Endurance - not quite as good as the Continental 4000s I'd used before but long lasting, fairly fast, saw off the puncture fairy quite nicely and (most importantly) cheaper then the 4000s.
