You need Look Keo cleats for those pedals.

They come in three flavours.

Red - 9 degrees of float
Grey - 4.5
Black - 0

Float is how much you can move your foot/ankle once clipped in.

Also, ignore Look Keo Delta cleats - they're for older style pedals, which I believe are still popular on track bikes. I made this mistake so you don't have to.

Thanks very much. Spotted that too. Figured i'd start on the Grey and go from there..........

Grey is my favourite - I get sore if I can't move around a little, but red feels way too loose.

Also, you're probably aware, but just in case, you can adjust the tension of the pedal to make it easier/harder to clip in/out. Adjust using a hex key on the back of the pedal.

Oh yeah, and they can be a bit of a bastard to get on and off the cranks as you can't use a pedal spanner on them! Leverage is your friend.

Also, check out Merlin Cycles when you come to buy your own stuff. They often have bundle deals on shoes and cleats.

I can vouch for their bargainous Rexton pair at £25. Comfortable and can't be beaten for the price.

That's a really good point on the tension, hadn't thought of that!

Merlin and Sigma Sport are both good alternatives to the big online boys, Sport Pursuit too. Always worth shopping around to get the best deal.
