My lifestyle has changed considerably since having a baby daughter and now working from home and find I have virtually no chance to get out and do the mileage I used to do.
I'm desperate to get some miles in my legs so am considering getting an indoor trainer I can hop on when the odd bit of time presents itself....question is, what are the pros v cons of roller, turbos, VR etc(tho I'd struggle to afford VR ones at the moment)

What would you guys recommend?

Rollers. Much less boring than a turbo.

Thanks Dave,
Is that because they keep you concentrating?
Are they difficult to get the knack of?....I've seen some comedy moments on You Tube!
Any particular features I need to look out for when buying - or recommended makes/models?
Cheers

Rollers are no less boring i dont think although you would probably find both pretty boring. Rollers eat away at the tyre a lot quicker though.

I have a few trubo's if you wanted i could sell you this one, only used twice and in as new condition. Make me an offer if you are interested. Comes with warranty.

My offer is 10 pounds. ;)

Rollers need your attention more I guess, as you need to keep balance. Both do the job their intended. I'd probably go for a turbo trainer.
