I'm strictly road. I did have an MTB for a while, but flat bars and an upright position just isn't me.
If I did want to go off roading it would be a cross bike for me too.

I ticked Road Bike, this is what I mainly ride for leisure a flat bar road bike or dropped bar. I commute with a Hybrid however.
Had the dropped bar road bike out for its first outing of the year, I'd forgotten how much fun it is.

What does the Kirk ride like? I know they had a dodgy reputation for breaking, but some of the TVM riders used them for a season when Millar rode for them (Though he used a conventional frame). I only ever saw one on the road, but one of my LBS at the time had a couple in stock.
