C4 also has an excellent Mafia comedy(!) with the troubles of the 1970 seen through the eyes of a 10-year-old boy, based on the film of the same name.

For a bit of light hearted relief I have been watching McDonald and Dodds.

Sort of a Bath version of Midsomer Murders really, not serious and with some odd bits of humour thrown in.

Me too. Spent the first 6 episodes trying to remember what was actually going on in this series. Picked up towards the end though. I wonder if this really is the end?

A new one - we picked up a Philips Ambilight 70" from Richer Sounds for sub 500-squids after I bottled spending much (much) more on a smaller LG OLED. Tremendous value, and a very decent TV indeed, I'm pleased to report.

I was enjoying ‘For All Mankind’ but this 3rd season is jumping the shark with every new episode.

I've been watching this, season 1 was really good. Just 2 episodes into series 2 and it's not as good, hopefully it will pick up. Really just watched it as I read it was like The Man In The High Castle (which is awesome, just IMVHO). The only thing it shares with that is that it is based on a significant point in history having a different outcome. It's still a really good tv series though.

I was really surprised by this. It's not often 'er Indoors likes stuff that is this ... gratuitous - perhaps she'll watch anything that looks a bit like Costume Drama? Dunno. But anyway, we love it, it's really funny, and Cat gives as good as she gets in nicely subtle ways.
Her "lover" is brilliant!
