"To the lake" on Netflix - a Russian pox/outbrake/social collapse type affair.
Two episodes in so far; not sure yet - could potentially be really good but so far it's pretty slow-paced. It's fairly effective at provoking an emotive response, which probably given the subject matter isn't a great idea before bed time..

Queen's Gambit - a surprise, pleasant one. Story of an orphan who overcomes the odds stack against her and becomes the best chess player in the world. I could not care less about the game itself but this is much more than just pawns and kings story. Coming out of age, social change, addiction and friendship are main themes here. Some fantastic work from lead Anya Taylor-Joy who put the N in the Neurotic, she glues together all the other elements of great TV. As good as anything you will find on Netflix

I've just finished To the Lake, I enjoyed it. Not taxing, it got through quite a lot for an eight episode series, if that had been American they'd stretched it over 25 episodes.

The Mandalorian Season 2 is shaping up well, and the drop ins of X-Wings and some Storm trooper bashing in the last two episodes was great. This is the Way !
Discovery is shaping up well, although one episode was a bit 'dull'.
Fear the Walking Dead - latest season is out, and it's actually been quite 'action packed'
Raised by Wolves - Ridley Scott Sci Fi - set years after androids wipe out the earth, and a couple of androids (sent by humans) land on a deserted planet carrying embryos to start a new colony. Slow burner but OK.
Discovery is shaping up well, although one episode was a bit 'dull'.

I'll see if I can 'command' the TV after work for an hour or so to get through the latest Mando and Discovery, although MrsF is currently demolishing Handmaid's Tails ?
