I would follow the standard format as employers will expect it. We often have to wade through and quickly eliminate dozens of hopefuls just to shortlist 5-6 for interview
Needs to be plain white good quality A4 paper,Anything non standard colour or size goes into the bin unread.
Needs to be printed obviously . Many prospective employees still think a hasty hand written note on some lined full scap will suffice.
Most emplyers will expect your experience and qualifications to be adequate and relevant. At first perusal we need to be able to pull out quick easy -to- see facts so the layout must be clear and logical so make sure your headings and sub headings are clear and you use short sentences and paragraphs.
I would suggest 1x sheet and keep it brief and to the point. Essentials only and use bullet points .
Think about what the job requires and make sure you include things that are relevant ie
What experience you have had that is relevant.? working on your own and friends bikes for instance
Have you had any previous responsibily ? it shows you can be trusted
Can you co-operate and work with others as part of a team ?
Have you had any experience of working with the public before.maybe a Sat job serving public at a McDonalds etc
lastly you'll need a couple of references try to get one personal one from a professional person like a former teacher and one work
