Different accents just work for different things. I'm with those who've said that nothing is more heart-stopping than a lilting Irish accent from a beauty.

And at the other end of the scale, can you imagine the Nuremburg rallies if Hitler had had a Welsh accent boyo? Welsh and psycopathic ranting...no.

I despise the Liverpool accent it's: embarrasing/crass/rough/aggressive AND its 20 million times worse on a woman !

Obviously you pick up the accent where you live and its a big no no for me to accentuate it and as much i'm not sharp in regards to scouse and accent its simply NOT accepted.

Though, the people are quite nice/warm !

I quite like NE accent and the Birmingham accent is quite funny (sorry) !

An Irish acent is sort of ok - nice'ish twang.

A totally BBC English accent is very 'goody goody 2 shoes'...though quite sexy on a female!

Essex is crass - SORRY !

Cornish is very unique - special, even.

Welsh is interesting.

I like a nice a scottish accent esp. on a female - thats why I like ringing my bank (RBS).

Suppose a policewoman with a scottish accent would be ultimate for me

How much does it cost to Oldham?
on the transfer back to heraklion airport this summer there was a liverpudlilan family sat behind us with a young boy who repeatedly said dad....dad.....dad.....dad.....in a deep scouse accent. It was cute for about 7 minutes but after an hour and a half............:smile::cursing::smile:

Heard Lenny Henry do the Martin Luther King "I have a dream" in a broad Brummie accent - absolutely hilarious

+1 for Scouse....wouldn't kick the Scouse Sugababe out of bed though, even though a lady should talk with her mouth full.

Lenny Henry...git....was in the front row of one if is gig's last year with a couple of buddies and we got picked on. According to him we were like a gay Franz Ferdinand....he just wouldn't let it lie either.
