Years ago (as a young tester) I would have said the GP de Nations, then (as a slightly older track man) a World/Olympic pursuit. Maybe a TT or the prologue in the TdeF - in truth 'what Boardman did'.
Glad to be in my late 50s and still a fit, active and healthy cyclist who enjoys cycling. No desire to win anything now
Don't think I've won a race since the egg and spoon race circa 82 on Troon beach but I've still opted for the giro because I reckon there's still time.
