asking for a facefluff group poster as they have bought some shoes and pedals and cant get them clipped in, looks to me like the pedals are not compatible and i wondered if anyone on here knows what they are?

Tell them just buy the correct Shimano pedals to match cleats. Cheap and easy.

Looks to me a bit like Time ATACs- not sure though. Might be broken....Not Crank Brothers either.

I reckon SPD pedals.
Try loosing the tension and giving them a shot of WD40.

I've had pedals that I've not used for ages got clipped into them and then almost fell off they were so tight...

They look like these, or similar SPD/combi pedals (flat one side, SPD t'other).

If they're on an exercise bike, I doubt they're Shimano.
