Agreed, Nina Simone's 'Strange Fruit' is deeply moving. Her voice is one of the wonders of the world. I was fortunate to see her in concert; her mobility was restricted but there was passion in the voice.

But for the full-on neck tingling experience, I cannot think of anything more powerful than the opening bars of Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart"

It's well worth hearing. Just don't applaud afterwards.
If you're taking a bike with you, the "Peace Route" is well worth riding. About 30 easy miles (as far as I remember), taking in most of the significant battlefields around the Ypres Salient.
