What makes me happy?

Contentment.

Kinsmanship & community, walking into a place where you are greeted with a handshake and a beer.

Mutual acknowledgment of an act of intelligence or good manners in a world which often feels dominated by impatience and self importance.

Watching my children’s achievements & trying to convince myself I had a hand in them.

Making tired and dull things bright and desirable again.

What makes me unhappy?

Mild cheese
Bad ale
Empty port bottle
