What kind of behaviour is that in a race?

Agreed.

Moreover (and I mean this kindly) - toughen up! There are people around that will act as this fool did. If you're going to let each and every one of them upset you then you're only going to make your own life a misery.

I know it's hard to do but forget it. The guy's an idiot and you ought not waste your time worrying about idiots. You've better things to do with your energies. As suggested earlier, and if necessary, let the frustration out some other way. For example, find a decent climb and sprint it! Turn your anger to your advantage, burn it off training!

. And when your done training.... kick his butt in a race!

What a tool.... Sometimes you meet people like that and it just goes to prove that we really did evolve from apes!!!. Keep training and kick his butt at a race one day.

No no no, we did not evolve from apes. Apes and man share a common ancestor which is different. We are sort of the cousins of apes, some less removed than others though.

Seeing as how you were expecting to come last you should have waited until the last lap and ploughed straight into the tw&t making sure you smack him in face with your head (and helmet).

You could always claim it was a 'racing incident' later in court.
