Anyway, my favorite was the Superbe series, I have a bike with all Superbe stuff on it and the components have over 150,000 miles on them and they still work flawlessly.
Another fav was the Mountech and the Superbe Tech. I know they got a bad rap but I put the Superbe Tech rear derailleur on that bike that ended up with over 150,000 miles on it, and that derailleur never gave me any problems. The reason I went with the Superbe Tech was because it could shift while I was climbing a mountain road without having to back off the pressure on the pedals.
I have Mountechs on an old touring bike, and it never gave me any problems either.
So due to durability and the ability to shift while under load, my finger points to the Superbe Tech and the Mountech.
