What is this tool called in English?

I'm trying to translate a carpentry training manual, and I'm realising that because I learned in Germany, I don't know what some things are called in English.

Number 1: A Gehrungsäge or Kappsäge in German:

It's a mitre (circular) saw, AKA the Fingerwidowmaker.

Many thanks, if people don't mind I'll keep posting here: I don't trust G**gle to give sensible answers, and as this is translating for a textbook to be used in Sierra Leone I want to be absolutely sure it will be correct.

I'm not suggesting you use Google translate, but it could be a way of finding the examples of the tools for sale and looking at the seller's description. Could be a handy way to detect that @Drago is pulling your leg when he tells you that something is called a Sponge Mallet or whatever.

Anyway, best of luck with it.

I've noticed that especially with tools, there are several names so it helps to have people answering the question so I can pick up the possible alternatives quickly. I remember a German lesson with a colleague from the car trade, where we not only found there are many variations in German, but also Arabic...

In practice, when I see the English name, I often recognise it or a variation thereof.

You mean @Drago isn't entirely credible? I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked...

I'm having real problems finding the English names for these saws, can anyone help, based on the shape and cross-section of the teeth?

I know the rip cut and crosscut saws, 1 & 3, but would you call #2 a "multi purpose saw"? And what is the name of #4, for things like plastic coated chipboard?
