Hi there!

So my son's brilliant bike of three years was stolen last week
This is going to sound really stupid.. but we can't seem to identify it or remember the branding!

The only photograph we have is attached, and is super blurry! However, thought this could be the best place to seek some help identifying it!

The bike has a large frame, and was aluminium silver, with red and blue streaks. It was purchased from a store in Norfolk in 2012. I know this isn't much to go on, but any help would be appreciated!

What kind of store?

If it was bought from a store like Halfords you could show some of the cycle staff a picture of the bike and they could probably identify the make and model for you. As they have to assemble a lot of the bikes they may be able to recognise it.

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
Sorry I can't help identify it any more than those above. Please learn the lesson for next time: note make, model, date and place of purchase, frame number of all your remaining bikes and keep them in the fire safe with other insurance paperwork. Murphy then will protect all your bikes and you won't have another one stolen ;)

well spotted!

Glad you've got it identified.

If it doesn't come across as rude, that bike looks pretty basic to me so I wouldn't lose any sleep over its departure. It looks like it wasn't worth that much to be completely frank. Bb

Nope, that comes across as rude. No matter how basic, it may have had some work done on it with care and been on some adventures. Not all bikes are identical interchangeable commodities to their owners.
