Agree...much preferred feet and inches, in the late 60's whenever I measured something accurately it was for example 12 ⅛" and a knats.

That sounds like the Swabian measurement of a "Muckesäckerle"

A Mucke is a Mosquito. I'll let you decide what it's "Säckerle" is...

Very true. The start of the next decade seems to represent something significant. I'm dreading my next milestone, but thankfully I'm still only sixty-twelve.
