As long as I breathe, I attack.
I use a giro skyline for commuting that you can pick up for half the price that halfords will charge,at an ebay shop, well vented with a removable peak .
For my weekender i use a decathlon btwin sport 7 and for the cost its a great helmet

I bought a white Met to match the bike. It fits well and has an adjustable rear band. To me any helmet sold from a reutable lbs will be good, the rest is down to fit and if you like the colours, style etc

I've just bought a Giro Monza from Halfords but I'm starting to doubt the fit. It seems to sit high on my head? I don't know if it's just the fact I am not used to seeing myself in a helmet? Are there any more slimline helmets out there? I suppose they need to be a certain thickness to do their job?

Fast and careful!
to help a helmet fit if you have hair and to soak up sweat i wear a buff with a turn in it to make a skull cap,the helmet will not slide around on your hair so much

I've just ordered this one following a good review in cycling plus.

I got it for less than £40 in matt black and red. I find the cost of some of the top-end ones difficult to justify.

Maybe i've just got a sweaty head then

Mine doesn't have replaceable pads but every few weeks i shower with it and leave it to dry. Seems to work well enough.

(And no, I don't wear it :P)

Where do you hang it:ohmy:
