I succumbed to temptation by a £1 per box promotion in Asda. The packaging looked different, scrutiny of the blurb revealed that they are no longer owned by Quaker foods. Internet research indicates that they are made at the same factory but they are not the same 
They don't have the same degree of glazing that I recall from the past
They are not as sweet as I recall
They lack the taste impact that they used to have
and tellingly.......
They don't make your urine smell afterwards.
In the interests of science and to confirm my suspicions that changes have been made I have consumed a full box of Sugar Puffs over the past four days to have second third and fourth opinions.
All opinions were consistent: SugarPuffs are not as nice and they no longer have side effects.
I'll not be buying them again
