Epically sad things, especially when older guys team them with those hideous below the knees 'shorts'.

The male equivalent of mutton dressed as lamb imo.

Nowadays short are designed for tall people
and on the adverts they look good (because they are fit and attractive) and just come to their knees
when I put them on my short legs mean that they reach several inches below the knee and look stupid
If they do trousers with different lengths then it is illogical to not do shorts in different lengths

My wife would note that ladies anything has the same problem - she is 4 foot 11 - on a good day!

I saw Star Wars when it came out in the 70s so I think I can help you with that. The story is that there are some baddies (Darth Vader and the blokes in white armour wearing gas masks) and some goodies - the two robots (the tall skinny one and the little one) the hairy one and some people. The role of the goodies is to defeat the baddies, which they do.

That's how I remember it anyway. It's been a while but I think I'm not far off. Some of the other films may be different, but I haven't seen them.

Don't forget that there's a damsel in distress that needs to be rescued, but it turns out that she's quite capable of giving the baddies a bit of a slap on her own.

This girl hears you. Trying to find jeans that don't sweep the street when I walk is... difficult.

Oh, and I do wear crocs btw. They take the place of slippers. Wouldn't go out beyond the gate in them.

Some jeans online seem to be available in 1" length increments.

America sees this as standard.

We just use a good local seamstress to sort these issues out.

I was ralking about the ones that are designed to be 6" etc below tge knee.

They look great on a 'young surfer dude' but ridiculous on the well aged imo.
