I haven't really watched much telly over the past few years. I watched Rome for the sex and violence, and I used to watch Dr Who until I got fed up with the outrageous liberties Russell T Davies was taking with it. I heard on the radio how good The Wire was, and since the bloke behind it used to make Homocide, I can believe it. I also resisted The Mighty Boosh for years, but I saw some clips on YouTube and lmao. What else is good?

Planet Earth.
Atom.
The various Adam Curtis documentaries.

Can't really think of much drama or stuff I thought was great.

That wasn't bad.

(Not really on UK TV but as a TV Series)...The Wire...haven't seen any cop / crim drama even remotely as good or clever for a long long time.

On the Buses was great but apparently they're not going to make any more:wacko:

From what I heard it was immensely popular, but actually rather shite. btw my last name is Varney. My brother is known by all as Reg at work, although I doubt many of his colleagues know why.

a lad at school, first name of stuart, surname of formby, was universally known as george, as was his older brother, father and grandfather. i once phoned, absent-mindedly asking for george, and being asked which one i wanted…
