Definitely not that glue. If the smell makes you high, then it will melt polystyrene.

Now don't go and use it in reverse. Don't look for stuff that melts poly-s just to find a shortcut to things that make you high.

I think I've used super glue on the foam pads but it didn't last long, sweat seems to be able to defeat it. Check SKS for pad spares, they have a lot of obscure ones or write to the customer service for some new ones.
