The Red Monks, a ropey seventies Italian horror film.

Being the seventies, and it's Italian, you're guaranteed a bit of titillation, even that can't make up for the utter cackiness of it though.

The best thing is the dubbing, it's so bad it makes Monkey look like a top class production, absolutely hilarious.

3/10.

That bit about Erath was a bit random and far-fetched. But I wanted to watch a film where I didn’t have to think too much and it was fine for that.

Watched King Rocker which was on sky arts the other night.Not so much a film I guess.Its Stewart Lee interviewing Robert Lloyd front man of the Nightingales.I enjoyed it,funny at times.Worth a watch anyway.

The Woman in Black

Harry Potter finds a job after he leaves school and ends up in a fairly standard suspense by numbers, it just about managed to hold my attention, but the ending doesn't really tie up any loose ends in the plot.

5/10.

We didn't make it to the end, despite Mrs PP loving the book and stage play

The 80s TV series is far far better than the shoddy movie

I was going to watch that, so thanks for the tip off
Reservoir Dogs last night. Completely overlooked by the oscars (how many times has that happened?) , but surely one of the great films of the 90s? Pulp Fiction last week, and on to Kill Bill tonight... these are all 10/10 films that get better the more you see them
