Hang on a minute, at the end of the day if you got rid of all those phrases, that would be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

Another thing that I don't like (I'm not going so far as to say I hate it) is the twee phrasing you often found in office communications circa 1989. I don't know if it still happens.

Methinks tis time to retire to a local hostelry for a libation. That kind of thing.

We used to refer to all of these phrases and the more modern ones, under the collective term of "w*nkspeak", which seemed very appropriate. I expect that word is frowned upon these days.

Maybe we're living in an alternative Orwell universe. Big W*nker is watching you.

No. Is it New OR Improved, it cannot be both.

Hopefully, it will always be both, though too often is isn't.

I can see why you are saying that, but "new" does not mean a completekly new product in these cases, it means a new version of the product (e.g. A new recipe for that can of vegetable soup).
