I bought this pants and jersey and this merino base layer.
How are you going with these two items?
I took this recommendation and bought the long sleeve version.A
or buy this base layer, not cheap but very warm

I sweat a lot because I work hard on my rides but as this soaks everything I’ve really suffered with a very cold torso which eventually gets into my core. Despite wearing a base layer and either Castelli Gabba or Stolen Goat Climb & Conquer jacket.
Maybe that's your problem. Get some hiking shoes and thick socks. Maybe also some foot warmers. Perhaps another trip to Decathlon is in orderStill cold feet though: I tried the ziploc bags trick as seen on GCN youtube channel but didn't work (I have flat pedals and ride in sneakers so no overshoes for me)
