what do you listen to on the exercise bike

one thing I really miss on my bike is being able to listen to music.
occasionally if off road I put my headphones on, but normally its a not on.
(and I shake my head in wonder at cyclist I see in traffic with them on)

so I have conclusive proof you boogy faster to music, on my exercise bike I blast along.
(I set the fan up behind me to give me a bit of a tail wind and stops me melting)

so if you do to - what do you listen to?
my favourate burn music is ZeeZeetop , tibetan tecno, gladiatior. + the the music from acopolipse now.

Usually the sound of my own panting and a choice selection of expletives!

that is not how you burn the miles, my wife (bless her) is the same, she reads a book. she says its boring just pedelling.
I stuck my headphones on her (turned it down - I like it loud) and she did get it. she speeded up to almost break out in a sweat. (she doesn,t like sweating).
me I look like Ive just come out he the shower , steaming and socking wet.

I try to do 2 lots of 10k, pedalling at about 20mph, does make me sweat! I guess it depends why you are doing this - I find it's better than just sitting and watching TV and eating. I can't ride outdoors right now, so it's better than nowt!

oh - it must be nigella your watching. - I see.:smile:

I think I,ve done more miles on the exercise bike this year than on my outdoor bike

Why would watching Nigella make me sweat?

You need to get outside more if that is so. I have only just got back on the exercise bike as I cannot ride outside, although may try a few miles tomorrow
 
Get some Rocky 4 soundtrack in there and pedal like never before. :training: :bicycle::boxing:
And don't forget to make as much grunting and overacted pain noises during your workout.

Do I want to admit to this?
but currently I am listening to one of those audiofuel tracks which has the music beat to the rpm on a set workout. I need all the help I can get... but have to admit when i did the 1hr session, I was not only exhausted, but dripping wet, my hair wetter than if I had taken a shower and my top soaked (white cotton T shirt was probably not the best move given I'm female but I did have the blind down :rolleyes: OH has at work so he missed that treat!) Taken about 3 days to recover from it. All done whilst watching a film on TV...
think it would have been drier to have gone out in the rain personally and I might have been able to ride again sooner (recovering from a leg injury).
 
i don't use a exercise bike since i find them incredibly boring to use even listening to music or watching TV.

when i listen to music i normally just put my whole music collection on shuffle so i get a little of everything
