Squid with chilli and salt is a winner from our local chinese in Lutterworth.
If you're ever in London and want an excellent Chinese for not much money, go to China China on Gerard St, just behind Leicester Square. It serves the best sweet and sour chicken ever made, the steamed greens are amazing and my absolute favourite, garlic shoots with xo sauce are to die for. Well not literally but they're flippin' lovely.

Same thing every week (boring sods are we), so much so that she (owner) orders for me and I just say, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes. Tank you very much.

Used to have a similar thing when I'd phone an order through at my old "local" Chinese.

Mrs Wah - "Hewwo, Kim Wah takeaway, can I take youw owder?"
Me - "Hello, can I.........."
Mrs Wah - "Ok, weady in haf houw".

Never did get to change my order !!
