I am looking at upgrading from using my phone in my back pocket for a cycling computer but I do not want to spend over £100. I would really like it to do the minimum such as speed, distance time but if I can get navigation in my price range then that would be great.

I am currently thinking of the garmin edge 25 any thoughts?

Don't think it does on the fly nav if that's what you want (planned breadcrumb trail maybe)

You could get a used 705

That looks good Gert Lush! Does it matter that it has been refurbished in regards to working ability and does the 500 have navigation?

I wouldn't know about the first part. I doubt they could sell it as Refurbished if it didn't work completely. The 500 has Bread Crumb navigation, which works well for some people. I used it a few times and got around.
