I get this when i am fatigued, or have not had enough sleep, or am deyhrated - or a combo of all three.

You need rest IMO.

If you cycle very intensely, in warm weather, then stop suddenly ( say, for traffic / junctions etc) you can induce mild shock, a lot like what happens to distance runners / fast sprinters (hence the reason the elite sprinters sink to their knees, as soon as they stop, usually) as your body over reacts, and causes a 'sweat storm'. This can manifest itself as sudden dizzynes. Try to grab your water bottle, and have a drink, the instant you stop, in these circumstances. Also a sudden dip in blood sugar levels / blood pressure, caused by the exertion can cause dizzyness.

AND go to the doc... even if the cause is along the lines of what Racing roadkill suggests, a visit to the doc will give you peace of mind.

And don't underplay it when you get there with the reluctant explanation act. Say the internet sent you and we think it's serious coz we've looked the symptoms up online.
She did ask for advice, evidently concerned as she asked how to stop the weight loss.
Some of us would be pleased and seeking more!!

Sounds like she's riding maybe 100-150 miles a week, hardly excessive if she's been eating loads too (granted her loads may not actually be much depending on what she's eating, loads of salad vs loads of stuffed crust pizza for example). It's not exactly been super hot the last two weeks

For women, other occurrences (monthly or of approx 9 monthly duration) can cause light headedness, weight change etc of course
