I actually quite like the London Dome. Yes I know... but forget the PR disaster, forget who paid for it, forget that the underwhelming (original) contents. As a building I think it rocks.

The Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea.....dubbed the 'The Worst Building in the History of Mankind' but it looks better than my office block!! Started in 1987, stopped, incomplete in 1992 and started again earlier this year.

My favourite building is one that was never built, paradoxically! Jean Nouvel, of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torre_Agbar fame designed a building called the torre sans fins (tower without ends)...a screenshot of it can be seen here: http://eras.free.fr/images/tsf/Image1r.JPG

The idea was that it would be difficult to see where the tower began and ended. At the top it would be transparent so it would almost blend straight into the sky. A lovely idea and it's a shame the tower was never built...

Still, the torre agbar is excellent and I took lots of pics of it when I was in Barcelona. The sagrada familia was excellent close up but rather boring from a distance, for some reason. I really like the British Museum building in London and also the Tate Modern, both inside and outside.

The Arche De La Defense right beside it is cool as well!

I liked the Sagrada Familia although it reminded me somewhat of a giant sandcastle!
