What bike is Boardman riding?

See these all around London. I assume it has some kind of remote enabled bike lock. They get dumped in the middle of paths, roads. Seen one dumped in the fountain at Regents Park.

More of a menace than mobility aid!

That's interesting. At the full price it would take a while to get your money back if you were renting them out though. I vaguely remember them in Manchester, but mostly because they were being nicked so much. Shame that the scrotes ruined it.

The bikes themselves were rubbish. One gear, seat too low, rough ride.

I used a fair few in Manchester during the short time they were available. Horrid to ride, and you had to not try too hard as you'd end up a sweatty mess, but they would get me into the city centre 3 times quicker than walking. Meant I could grab an extra pint.
