That’s a great question. You build up, train and focus for something like this (I felt the same when I did a marathon 10 years ago).....and when it’s finished there’s a sense of emptiness.
I’d love to ride more in France/Span/Italy (I like riding in warm weather!)
But no idea yet to answer your question!

Hi there - longest was a training ride of around 120kms, Enfield - Buckingham Place - Windsor Castle and most of the way back.
Built up quite a lot of cycling in my legs by averaging around 80km per week commuting

Hi Andy - yes, leaves Portsmouth around 10pm, arriving in Caen around 5:30 am. Nice comfortable bunk for the night. I slept like a log!
