Hi !
I've not ridden a bike since 3 years ago and since then i've become quite a fat man (my weight is 120 kilos).
I'm 20 years old and i'm now looking to get back into shape and have some adventures along.

Now my budget is about 500-700 euros , i was looking to get a Hybrid bike(trek),i plan to mostly enjoy the roads and the occasional forest when the wilderness calls. So i guess a hybrid bike is ideal for that.
I've looked through brands such as felt, giant, trek .

I don't know what the differences in the quality of a bike are between the many brands of hybrid bikes and what would be the best for my needs, or are all the brands the same ?

Thanks for reading.

Quality mainly relates to budget, rather than brand - as all brands offer a range of bikes to suit different budgets.

The term hybrid covers pretty much everything between a mountain bike and a road bike.
What is the terrain like off road?
And how often are you going off road?

I was happy to go off road on gravel/grass etc on my specialized sirrus on 35mm tyres and then put some 23mm tyres on when I was going out on a road ride

I personally am happy on gravel with 32mm tyres, 28mm are as low as I'd push it if I intended on riding it regularly, but I'm pretty confident rider.
Where are you? Your welcome to try my bikes out if local.

For your riding you don't really need a suspension fork. At 120kg I would tend to go for wheels with at least 32 spokes, but beyond that, ride a few and make your choice from what feels comfortable. Now is a great time of year to get really good discounts on 2016 bikes so you should be able to find something from above your budget quite easily.
