I've had the lurgy since before Christmas and have yet to manage a full meal and more than 2 drinks despite my best efforts, so I reckon this is going on be a quiet one.

looks like decent ( i.e. not raining) weather so maybe bike ride in the morning)
after that pick up hot pot pie must be picked up from deli for dinner

then TV until close to 11:30
then Jules Holland (if he is still on) until 12

then drink fizz- if not too drunk already

then bed


N.B fizz is fizzy wine - not some tart from Corrie - just to be clear

Even if you were with a Corrie tart called Fizz, keeping her in the fridge is a bit rude.

Gave up on Jules ages back when we realised that the show was pre-recorded.

The show had become way to formulaic as well tbh.

Off to friends tonight. I have dog chews to take for their two cockers. We've been invited to stop over to save the hassle of a taxi. They are only 15 minutes away via The Alan Newton Way, but cycling home piddled isn't a good idea.

Been out for 27 miles pedalling around the hills of Brisbane Glen, Loch Thom, and Inverkip. Therefore not feeling guilty about starting on the rum NOW. It is after all just past midnight in Brisbane, Australia. Happy New Year to an old friend who lives there now.
