Chilling out to Sigur Ros and reflecting on last Sunday's gig.

One of my favourite videos (Heima, I mean, not this Youtube cut). A very nicely done documentary. The track is one of my favourite Sigur Ros tracks, too.

I don't know if you picked up on my Iceland Holiday #boastposts, but I visited three locations from the Heima film, including Asbyrgi where they filmed Hoppipola. We picniced on the exact spot they played. Also, you know that blue church in the mist? Seydisfjordur.

Nice looking area. I really enjoyed watching Heima, after I bought the DVD set. I first watched the documentary DVD, then the 2nd DVD after that with the full versions of all the tracks they played during the documentary. It certainly shows some nice parts of Iceland.

Next time you are thinking of doing a bike tour of Europe please try Iceland and then hop over to Scandinavia. Very different to the Med and traditional cycling areas of Soutgern Europe.

I can't recall if I posted this track on this thread before. It's by Balligomingo. I bought their album "Beneath the Surface" recently, and it's quite nice listening, especially this track.
