Non stop Rock in the evening, on "The Arrow", Sky 0146.
Now playing ....

Ref Elvis Costello, I missed that he was touring until he was sold out. A workmate saw him in Leicester a couple of weeks ago; solo, and acoustic for two and a half hours and blew the place away. Pig sick I missed out. I do however have tickets for Squeeze supported by Dr John Cooper Clarke which helps with the pain.

Saw Squeeze a couple of years ago in Glasgow (supported by the Lightning Seeds) and they were still as magnificent as when I first saw them at the Ingliston Festival (near Edinburgh)through a heavy haze of alcohol in 1979!

I saw Squeeze back in '85. then I by chance caught Chris Difford as the first act on when Roger Waters did Dark Side of the Moon in Hyde Park. Last year Glenn Tilbrook did a solo acoustic at the local music pub (Up the Junction, just him, on a six string acoustic - moving). Now I'm looking forward to seeing them together again. I've also seen Jools Holland on his own (who hasn't), but I don't think he would add anything by being there - he was only the keyboard player.
