yes, if you're lucky you'll have no problems but don't expect their customer service to have improved much over the years - is the money saving worth the risk? only you can decide!

Ribble Update: ordered stuff (wheels, pump, assorted things) and they arrived promptly with nothing missing. So far so good. However, Blackburn pump didn't work (note to oneself: read online reviews before purchasing. So, returned pump asking for an alternative replacement (Topeak Joe Blow) and that arrived pretty much return of post. Only downside is that postage (£7!!!!) wasn't refunded. That sucks!!!!

If there's is only a few £££ difference in price i'll always go with CRC, Wiggle or Merlin but a set of Campag Sciroccos (2010 version) for £150 was too good to ignore.

I have had issues with Ribble in the past and deliberately avoided them for years but on this occasion I can't complain with their service.

Just about to order a Ribble Sportive with the 6700 Ultegra gruppo and superlegerra wheels . Heard mixed reviews about these wheels so already unsure. Now I'm nervous about Ribble full stop.
I guess like others I'm being lured by the prices and the great looks (like a woman of the night) - I hope I don't have regrets in the morning and a dose of clap! - metaphorically speaking! ;)

Maybe they're OK for components but not good for complete bikes?

They are good for online ordering of components, never had an issue with them yet... I had no problems with my complete bike of them either.

I think the issue with the bike side of things is that they are at the mercy of suppliers (STi leavers being a case), they are knocking that many bikes out I think that the system has to catch up so to speak and that is when problems occur.
