I've got friends in Ireland and in Germany, and there's no supply chain issues there.
It's almost as if the UK is the exception here.

When you say "Ireland", is that Republic of Ireland ?, because, I have friends in Northern Ireland, and, they say there are many "supply chain" issues.

I did mean the Republic, yes.
My friends there had to pay hundreds of euros in duty when they took some wine over.
Wine they'd already paid UK taxes and duty on, but can't claim back.
Still, I expect someone will be along soon to explain how this is a good thing, and they'd voted for precisely that.
