This caught me out the other day and I was blown away by the lyrics.

Ain't no angel gonna greet me

The song, allied with Tom Hanks' performance just stabs at your humanity. The scene at 3:45 where he realises he's completely alone and facing his end with no hope is heartbreaking

My daughter chose to have this song and video played at her funeral 6 years ago. She was 19 when she died…cancer. Our last moments together were exactly this. Even more weirdly our family business was working with wool so we really felt that this video was made for us. I miss her so badly x

Ouch mate. That's pretty raw. I cannot play Für Elise as this was a piece my mother played on the piano (and at her funeral).
