Wet and Dry Lube - What are you using?

I suspect the responses I get here will be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, with every response suggesting a different brand, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I was using Green Oil Wet Lube for winter, and Rock n Roll Gold for summer/dry conditions. The last time I tried to order some more Green Oil Wet they sent me some of their dry wax lube instead, which I'm finding rather frustrating to use. My chain sounds noisy really quickly, and besides that it's difficult to apply, with the nozzle regularly getting clogged up.

Anyway, what (Wet and dry) lube are you using? And no, I don't want to go the whole ultra clean chain followed by melting a wax, I use my bikes to get around and don't want to spend loads of time babying the chain.

Cheers!

I clean it with a rag about once a fortnight (ish) and use an environmentally friendly oil that wasn't expensive at all. I just couldn't be bothered fannying around endlessly with anything else. My chain has never let me down yet.

Usually, it's Finish line Ceramic Wet - lasts well, survives crappy conditions. I'm currently using Finish Line Krytech Ceramic wax - just because I got it in a bigger bottle. Works OK, chain is nice and quiet on the commuter, it's clean, but wet weather, it needs re-applying often - which is more costly. I'll probably go back to my usual Ceramic Wet as it's got good corrosion protection.

I use Muc-Off Ceramic dry in the summer, wet in the winter.

Possibly niot the best, but I have a few bottles to get through, and they are good enough most of the time.

Chainsaw Chain Oil

When I was growing up I always used 3-in-one

or dangled the chain in the basin of old engine oil from when my Dad (or Uncle) had last changed the car engine oil

but apparently this is not suitable any more so I use some wet and dry lube I get from the LBS
no idea how it can be both but it seems to work

Now - be nice everyone - people are allowed to have opinions - even if they are wrong!!!

One advantage of a belt drive.

One disadvantage, if you are deaf like me, is that I cannot hear the note when the belt is at the correct tension.

There is a Gates app for this, but you need three hands.
One to hold the phone, near the belt. A second to set the app in motion. Whilst you use your third hand to twang the belt.

No lubrication dilemma though

Finish Line Dry and Muc Off Wet, just as those happen to be what I have. With multiple bikes (and hence chains), I don't lube any of them terribly often (especially as I try not to cycle in the wet!)

The wonder of the cycle having read many exploits of travellers country and world wide is that as long as you give it the odd tweak here and there it will go for a very very long time. It may be different for the high end road rockets that never go out in the rain and have more electrickery than the early space shuttles however.
