I'm off this afternoon! Train to London, sleeper to Inverness, and a few days warmup to get to the main event.

Now lets see how my body reacts after 2 1/2 weeks off the bike due to work travel, culminating in getting back from China just this morning.

Back at event hq after an awesome day.

Unfortunately I have packed my schedule too tight, so when the ride time looked to be slipping slightly beyond my (probably optimistic) estimate I decide to cut my ride a little short - to make sure I can catch my ferry to Skye tonight, and still have legs for the next two days.

Kudos to @wicker man for putting on a great event in even better terrain. I'll certainly try hard to come back for another go - with a less demanding schedule next time!
