Driveside flange torn apart by my awesome strength.

So, how much should I expect to pay to have the old wheel rebuilt on a new 10sp hub, or alternatively are there any good deals on new wheels at the moment?

Low spoke count and I would guess a non/own branded hub? When will people learn.......

Just out of interest what bike/hub is it anyway (please say Specialized )
Trek/Bontrager. When I bought the bike I thought the wheels looked a little weedy, but to their credit they were as true this morning as they were when new, despite 5000+ potholed miles carrying my considerable weight.

CR and ebay for wheels and hubs. looks like it could be 24 h hub? if you are ging to rebuild the wheel, I see no reason why not to use the same spokes and rim, assuming ri9m is not too worn - I hve done that on multiple occassions but you need to ensr the hub spoke hole pcd (dunno exact temr but the diameter on whcih spoke holes lie) on the two hubs are the same or you won't be able to reuse the spokes,

I build my own wheels and it is very satisfying. You may find you can live with the same spokes even if the PCD is slightly different (depending on the lacing pattern? I know that for 32 or 36 spoke wheels laced 3x the PCD has little effect on the spoke length).
